When I first heard about the Ronald McDonald House^®, I had absolutely no idea of what it is and who it is for. Out of curiosity, I called to enquire their services and request a visit to the House. Since then, I have become its loyal volunteer.

Tao Tao, a seriously burned little boy who was 3 to 4 years old at that time, had touched my heart. Due to his conditions, he was very reluctant to blend in with others and refused to play with other children. After my many rounds of ice-breaking, Tao Tao finally accepted me and opened up himself. My efforts finally paid off. Till now, every moment when I think about the big smile on his face, it gives me the sweetest feelings ever.

At the beginning, I only planned to become the House’s volunteer during my spare time. However, this House of Love has brought meanings and colors to my life and has been the major charity I served in the past few years.
