Volunteering Opportunities

Established in 1996, the mission of RMHC™ Hong Kong is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.


RMHC Hong Kong provides ″home-away-from-home″ accommodations for sick children and their families, as well as psychosocial support to the families, Love Companions (previous House guests of RMH) and hospitalized children through our three signature programs. We welcome volunteers to assist the operation and activities of RMHC Hong Kong and together we accompany the sick children and their families to tide through the difficult times during medical treatments and recovery.


RMHC Hong Kong is opened to individual and group volunteers who are in support of our mission. Individual volunteer applicants are eligible to attend a volunteer briefing after their registration form and related documents being verified. All applicants are required to attend a volunteer briefing prior to their first services.

Individual Volunteer
  • Applicant aged 16 to 70 is  eligible to register as an individual volunteer
  • Applicants below age 18 will require consent from either their parents or legal guardians
Group Volunteer
  • Government/public organizations, non-governmental organizations, corporations, schools, educational groups may register as group volunteers
