1974

1st Ronald McDonald House® in Philadelphia, USA

1995

Founding Ceremony of RMH in Hong Kong

1996

Asia′s first RMH in Hong Kong

1997

1st family checked in RMH in Hong Kong

1998

RMH Hospital Visit Team established in Hong Kong

1999

Number of RMHC Hong Kong volunteers exceeded 1,500.

2000

1st RMH Open Day in Hong Kong

2002

Serving over 500 sick children and their families

2003

1st Family Retreat in Batemans Bay, Australia

2008

House renovation and expansion project to 23 bedrooms with 1 isolation suite started

2009

Re-opening of expanded RMH in Hong Kong

2013

“Travel With Love” program launched

2014

1st RMHC APMEA Conference.

2015

Sponsored neonatal intensive care unit of United Christian Hospital

2016

20th Anniversary of RMHC Hong Kong

2017

“Love Companion” program established

2018

King of Cantopop, Mr. Sam Hui, and his son Ryan performed at Gala Dinner

2019

Shuttle bus service between Shatin House and Hong Kong Children Hospital started; and 2nd RMH program under planning

2020

“Caring Teddy Hospitality Cart” program implemented

2021

25th Anniversary of RMHC Hong Kong

2023

With the funding support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the 2nd House, RMHC (Kwun Tong House) Jockey Club Building officially opened.
