The 25th RMHC Hong Kong Raffle Launch Ceremony and “Read for Love” Program Appreciation Event successfully concluded on July 5 at Diamond Hill Hollywood Plaza. Artists Mayanne Mak and Tony Hung attended as special guests, actively participating in the raffle ticket sales and sharing heartfelt moments with attendees.
“RMHC HK provides essential support to families when they need it most,” Mayanne expressed during her sharing. “Through this initiative, I hope to inspire more people to join this meaningful cause.” Tony added, “As a father, I truly understand the importance of a supportive environment for children’s recovery. RMHC HK not only offers accommodation but also builds a caring community for families.”
Ms. Grace Oei, RMHC Global Board of Trustees and RMHC Hong Kong Chairperson, highlighted the organization’s three-decade commitment to serving families. “Since its opening in 2023, our Kwun Tong House has significantly eased the burden for families seeking treatment at the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital. What touches me most is witnessing how these families naturally form a mutual support network, sharing experiences and strength throughout their medical journeys,” she stated.
The event featured vibrant stage performances, interactive activities, and an appreciation ceremony for dedicated participants of the “Read for Love” program, creating an uplifting atmosphere throughout the day.
The 25th Raffle Sale will be held from June 27 to August 21, 2025, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the daily operations of the Ronald McDonald House, providing a “home away from home” for sick children and their families. RMHC Hong Kong sincerely appeals to the community for generous support, joining hands to build a loving and hopeful haven for these families, helping them overcome challenges and move toward a brighter future.
