Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong (RMHC HK) is delighted to announce the appointment of Vera Chin as its new Chief Executive Officer. Vera brings a wealth of experience, having held leadership positions in the financial sector and made significant contributions to non-profit organizations. Her diverse background is expected to propel RMHC HK forward in its mission to support families during their children’s healthcare journeys.
“Ms. Vera Chin has been appointed as CEO to guide our organization’s rapid growth, expand our social impact, and continue to provide ‘Family-Centered Care’ to more children and families in Hong Kong,” stated Ms. Grace Fung OEI, Chairperson of the RMHC Global Board of Trustees and RMHC Hong Kong.
Vera Chin reflected on her new role, “I am honored to join the RMHC Hong Kong family and inspired to build upon its remarkable work. Together, we will strive to remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare, driving RMHC Hong Kong forward in its mission to support families on their children’s healthcare journeys.”
Before joining RMHC Hong Kong, Vera was the CEO of the Children’s Cancer Foundation. She has over 20 years of leadership experience in global financial institutions. Vera holds a Master of Business Analytics from the University of British Columbia – Vancouver, a Master of Science in Finance, Investment & Banking and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
